We’re Andover Mind. We understand mental health and wellbeing.

We’re here for you if you’re finding things hard. We help everyone understand mental health problems, so no one has to feel alone.

More young people are facing challenges with their mental health than ever before.

70% of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age – Mental Health Foundation. We’re here to change that.

For over 30 years Andover Mind have been helping people in and around Andover to improve their mental health and for most of the past decade we had been providing youth counselling in schools and communities, but when funding for this work was withdrawn, we knew we had to find a way to bridge the gap and continue supporting young people in our region.

With the increased demand on Children’s Services and on Children’s and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), along with the additional pressures that have arisen since the pandemic, it was clear to us that there is high demand for more local resources to address young people’s mental health in Andover, so Be You was launched to provide interim support and advice to those who need it.
