Government guidance has changed recently due to the new covid variant and cases are on the rise. This means we have had to make some changes to the way we work in order to keep everyone safe. We are still here for you and are committed to offering virtual appointments for those who are unable to visit our centres.
If you have any symptoms of covid (please note these include sneezing, sore throat, headache, runny nose and fatigue as well as fever, cough and loss of sense of smell) and need support with your mental health, please do not come in person to our services. Contact our support line on 0300 5000 907 and somebody will be able to help you.
Aldershot Safe Haven
Our Aldershot Safe Haven service is open 7 days a week as usual for those in crisis.
Opening hours are 6pm-11pm Monday to Friday and 12:30pm-11pm weekends and bank holidays.
Carer Support and Dementia Advice
Our Carer Support and Dementia Advice service are offering a blend of face-to-face, telephone and virtual support. Service users and carers will be risk assessed on a case by case basis and we are limiting home visits to urgent or high-need cases only.
All our groups have moved to virtual or to an outdoor community area, where feasible.
Telephone contact will be increased for those service users and carers who have been identified as vulnerable.
North and Mid Hants Safe Haven
Our North and Mid Hants Safe Haven is open 7 days a week as usual for those in crisis.
Opening hours are 6pm-10pm Monday to Sunday including bank holidays.
Appointments are continuing as normal either face-to-face or by telephone depending on the location of the surgery. Aldershot, Farnborough and Andover surgeries have the option to carry out face-to-face appointments where clinically indicated. Basingstoke and Fleet have remote appointments only.
The Ugly Duckling workshop remains temporarily closed whilst repairs and renovations take place. We hope to reopen in mid-January and will continue to provide you with updates as necessary. Our pop-up shop remains open.
We have postponed all face-to-face groups in our Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough and Romsey well-being centres until the 21st January (pending further government updates). Instead, we are offering outdoor and virtual groups where possible.
Booked 1-1 appointments are going ahead as normal providing you are displaying none of the symptoms highlighted above. If you are showing symptoms, or feel uncomfortable visiting the centre, we are able to offer telephone or virtual appointments instead.
