Skydiving out of a plane may not be for everyone, but for Hanna Denyer it was a way of fundraising for an important cause and one very close to her heart.

Last year (2023), Hannah sadly lost her Uncle to suicide. This led to her embarking on a fundraising journey for Andover Mind and encouraging others to seek mental health support and care. “I decided to raise money for this amazing charity (Andover Mind) in memory of my Uncle Scott, who sadly took his own life last year.” Said Hannah, “I hope the money helps towards support for other people suffering with their mental health.”

Hannah completed her skydive in July 2024 at the Old Sarum Airfield in Salisbury, raising a staggering £1025 for us. We honestly can’t thank Hannah enough for her generous fundraising efforts and taking on such a momentous challenge. Every penny helps us to deliver better mental health support in Hampshire.

If you would like to fundraise for us, please contact 01264 332297 or email mind@andovermind.org.uk. We love hearing your stories, supporting you and sharing them with others to inspire them to do the same!

Once again, a massive thank you to Hannah, we couldn’t do what we do, without people like you 💙
