Carers Rights Day is on 24 November. Each year Carers Rights Day brings organisations together to help carers in the local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to, such as flexible working options, carers allowance, free flu jabs, and more. You can find out more here.

At Andover Mind, we are doing our bit to help spread the word and support carers by hosting a number of events across Hampshire. This includes information stands, afternoon tea, and a festive wreath-making session. For details of all the events we are running you can view the timetable.

Our Carer Support and Dementia Advice service provide advice, information and support across Hampshire year-round to all carers aged 18 and above who care for another adult. We also support people with dementia and memory problems. The team are looking forward to meeting local carers throughout Carers Rights Day and discussing any concerns or queries they may have.

For more information about the support we offer, contact 01264 332297 or email enquiries@andovermind.org.uk and our referrals and enquiries team will be happy to help.
