What is counselling?

Counselling helps you to explore how you really feel about your life in the safety and confidence of the counselling relationship. Our counsellors are trained to deal with a variety of issues, including bereavement, depression, relationship issues, problems in the workplace, domestic violence, abuse, money worries and sleep problems.

How can I access the service?

The service is open to everyone and appointments are available during the day or in the evening from Monday to Saturday. Sessions are 50 minutes long and are usually delivered weekly in 6 week blocks. After 6 weeks, you will be reassessed to determine whether continuing would be beneficial. Each session is chargeable at the rate of £25.

If you think counselling could help you, please complete this form and in the message box on the form, please tell us that you are interested in counselling.
