Our Well-being centre in Aldershot provides a range of services to support individuals with mental health problems. In addition to supporting people in their recovery from serious mental health problems, we also provide advice and information services to help prevent the onset of mental health conditions. The services we provide are personalised and individuals are supported to develop their own interests in the community.
Our Well-Being Coach assesses individuals with their mental health and well-being using a strength-based approach to identify and outline with the service user on areas in which they require support. You will support your service users in their recovery through low and high-intensity support structures in Conjunction with the recovery star plan and care plans, by providing 1 to 1 and group support.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in front line mental health services and be part of our Safe Haven team who provide a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.
Based in Andover Mind’s Aldershot Well-being Centre, The Safe Haven is an out-of-hours crisis service that provides an alternative to A&E for adults with mental health needs in the North East Hants, Farnham and Surrey Heath locality. To promote independence, opportunity and recovery for those attending the Safe Haven project we encourage individuals accessing the service to identify their own needs and make their own choices, supporting them to use coping strategies, to recognise their own strengths, as well as to use other resources.
We are looking for committed candidates. To be part of our team and help us make a difference, experience of working in mental health crisis services is essential as is experience of working with mental health and well-being.
This would be a great opportunity if you would maybe, like to supplement other part-time or self-employed hours. You will need to be available and flexible to do ad-hoc hours.
