We're here for our community

In these unprecedented times, our services are needed more than ever. We are receiving an increased number of enquiries from older people who are feeling lonely due to loss of contact with families; from carers who are worried about getting sick and what will happen to their loved ones if they do; from young people feeling anxious about their future and from people worried about coping alone with mental health issues.

We are rising to the challenge and even though our offices are closed, our highly trained and friendly staff are available via telephone, email and through online apps like Zoom, offering 1 to 1 and virtual group support.

But the financial impact from Covid-19 poses a real challenge for us. We have been forced to cancel or postpone many of this year's fundraising activities and many of the local businesses we work with are not at work to support our fundraising efforts. The Ugly Duckling workshop and pop-up shop are also closed and  we are losing vital income from sales. We estimate our lost income this year to be at least £10,000 and this will increase if the lock down is extended even further.

Can you help us?

A donation of £10 will pay for 2 calls to our advice line.
A donation of £25 will fund an on-line group activity for 8 people.

If you're able to make a donation to help fund our services please click on the donate button at the top of the page.

We are grateful for your support.
