Carers Rights Day is on the 25th of November and the focus this year is on raising awareness of the rights that unpaid carers have, which is particularly important following the pandemic and its impact on the lives of carers. This includes the right to be identified as a carer, discuss flexible working options, request a free flu jab, and more. You can find out more here.

At Andover Mind, we will be doing our bit to help spread the word and support carers by hosting a number of events across Hampshire. This includes information stands, afternoon tea, and a festive wreath-making session. You can see our full timetable for the week commencing 22nd November here.

Our Carer Support and Dementia Advice service provide advice, information and support across Hampshire year-round to all carers aged 18 and above who care for another adult. We also support people with dementia and memory problems. The team are looking forward to meeting local carers throughout Carers Rights Day and discussing any concerns or queries they may have.

For more information about the support we offer, contact 01264 332297 or email and our Referrals and Enquiries team will be happy to help.
