A message from the Trustees of Andover Mind
It is with sincere gratitude for her 20 years of service, that the Trustees of Andover Mind announce Debra Ramchurn's retirement as CEO.
Since taking on the role in 2006, Debra has played a critical role in the development and success of our charity. She has steered the organisation from being a single service provider, delivering only in Andover, to its current position, providing multiple services across the whole of Hampshire. We will miss Debra, her enthusiasm, her unswaying commitment to the charity and her valued leadership. We wish her the best in her retirement.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jody Phelvin as the new CEO. Jody has been with Andover Mind since 2012 and will be moving up from her current role as Director of Advice and Information Services.
Jody joined Andover Mind as a Dementia Advisor, moving up to a Team Leader and then Older Persons' Services Manager, overseeing both the Dementia Advice Service and the Older Persons' Community Independence Service. Jody was promoted again to Director of Advice and Information Servies when Andover Mind was awarded the Dementia Advice and Carer Support contract in 2018.
Jody will be taking over as CEO on May 17th 2021 but Debra will continue to work with Jody in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition. The Trustees and staff of Andover Mind are all looking forward to the next chapter in the development of the charity. We know that our work will be even more vital post Covid-19 and we remain committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our local communities.
