After a competitive tender process, Andover Mind has been successful in winning a 3 year contract from Hampshire County Council and the Clinical Commissioning Groups to deliver well-being services in Test Valley, Basingstoke and Deane, Hart and Rushmoor. The local mental health charity already has Dementia Advice and Community Independence Services working across a number of locations in Hampshire. Debra Ramchurn, chief executive of Andover Mind said "we have been providing a well-being service in Test Valley for the past 5 years and are thrilled to have been awarded additional contracts in North Hampshire. This is recognition of the excellent work our staff have been doing in Test Valley and we look forward to working in the new areas. “ The well-being service is open to people with a mental health diagnosis as well as those who may be concerned about their mental health or just need advice on maintaining well-being. As well as providing comprehensive advice and information, the service will also be delivering a variety of group activities, 1 to 1 support, workshops and training courses from a number of different community settings, including well-being centres in Andover, Romsey, Basingstoke and Aldershot. The service will start on 1st September.
