Carers Rights Day plans!
Recent research found that as many as 1 in 6 young people are experiencing a mental health problem and this figure is expected to rise even further.
Young people have been badly affected by the pandemic with disruption to their education, finances and employment and a growing uncertainty over their future. All this means there is an increasing demand on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, making it difficult for young people to access the help they need.
In response to this, we are launching a new service, Be You, supporting young people between the ages of 11-17 in Andover and surrounding villages.
Be You will help young people build resilience and coping skills and learn how to maintain their well-being as we continue to emerge from the pandemic.
We have already launched our Music Therapy Group as part of the Young Person’s service and will be adding more support over the coming months.

£5 per month could allow us to answer 10 calls for help this year, providing information, reassurance and hope for the future.
£10 could buy seeds for our allotment and flower garden, providing therapeutic outlets for people with mental ill-health and dementia or cover the cost of 3 of our weekly art group sessions, giving people a creative outlet for their feelings.
