help us to help others

Our charity shop is an important source of income for us and all proceeds help to fund the services we provide to the local community. Like all High Street businesses, the income from the shop has reduced a great deal over the past few years which increases pressure on us to cut back on the work we do. We rely on the generosity of the public to provide us with good quality donations and are always looking for furniture, bric-a-brac, books, linens and household items to sell in the shop. If you would like to make a donation, we can arrange collection for larger items so please call us for details.

Also, if you make a donation and you are a tax payer, please sign one of our gift aid declarations. This allows us to claim a further 25% on your donation from HMRC.

We depend on the support of a loyal band of volunteers who work in the shop 6 days a week. If you are interested in joining them, we’d love to here from you. Contact Lisa for more information.

Our shop is in Westbrook Close, opposite the police station. There are 2 car parks in South Street, and it’s also easy to walk through from the Asda car park. We’re open from 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 3.30pm on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you soon.
