Andover Mind Resource Centre
Our Resource Centre and offices are based at Arcade House, Westbrook Close in Andover (opposite Andover Police Station). the day service activities are led by a team of support, time and recovery workers (also known as STR workers).
The day service activities are led by the team of support, time and recovery workers who focus support according to individual needs of service users. This service provides one to one emotional support, safe space, peer support and therapeutic activities.
There are current groups running throughout the week which service users can choose and use according to their needs and interests.

We review our groups periodically to ensure that our activity programme is promoting and maintaining well-being, and is meeting identified service user interest.
Opening Times
9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
10am - 4pm Sundays
The centre is staffed from 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Charges
There is a small charge for tea, coffee and lunch, if required, daily.
Service users may be asked to make a small contribution to transport costs for outings.
Transport
This can be provided for those living in the surrounding area of Andover on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Eligibility
For those aged 18 – 65 years old who have Mental Health problems, and live with the Andover area. The service is not open to those whose primary problem is alcohol or drug related.
How to access our service
Through referral via the specialist mental health services for example
- Andover CMHT
- Assertive Outreach Team
- Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team
- Early Intervention of Psychosis Team
We currently do not accept self referrals or direct via local GP
Further information
Every 6 weeks we hold a Community meeting to gain feedback from service users and update on current changes within our services. The Community Meeting is facilitated by the Mid Hants and Eastleigh Service User Involvement Project.
