Friends in Need West Berkshire

Following the merger of Depression Alliance with national Mind, we have been delivering Friends in Need services in West Berkshire.  National Mind has taken over the running of the Friends in Need online community, whilst Andover Mind is now responsible for the offline Friends in Need local wellbeing network in West Berkshire.  This provides face-to-face services for people with depression and anxiety who are socially isolated.  Last year, as a result of Depression Alliance’s good work, over 27,000 people accessed help for depression.

Services currently operate out of Thatcham, and include an arts and crafts group, social lunches, yoga classes, an allotment group and evening meals out.  If you live in this area, and would like to find out more information please contact our Friends in Need Coordinator, Ansa Khan on 07908 265181 during office hours on a Tuesday/Wednesday/or Thursday or email  Alternatively please contact Barbara Allen on 01264 332297 or email
